Amy Winehouse biopic displays her talking about fear of fame

A new documentary on the life of late British singer Amy Winehouse shows the six-time Grammy-Award winner in her younger days discussing her misgivings about fame, a preview of the trailer showed on Thursday.

Winehouse died from alcohol poisoning nearly four years ago at her London home at the age of 27 after struggling with drinking and drug problems throughout much of her career.
Amy Winehouse

"I don't think I'm going to be at all famous, I don't think I could handle it. I would probably go mad," Winehouse says in the first glimpse of "AMY", due for release on July 3 and using previously unseen footage and unheard tracks.

Directed by Asif Kapadia, who won a BAFTA for his documentary "Senna" on the late Formula One racing driver Ayrton Senna, AMY features footage of a young Winehouse singing and smiling to camera and talking about her career while a version of her hit "Back to Black" plays in the background.

Seen as one of the most talented musicians of her generation, Winehouse's albums - with songs such as "Valerie", "You Know I'm No Good" and "Rehab" - sold in their millions.

"I never thought ... I would end up being a singer. I just thought I'm lucky that it is something I can always do if I want to," she says in another clip.

Harry Styles Cries Onstage After Zayn Malik Quits One Direction, Liam Payne Reflects On 'Strange 24 Hours'

Harry Styles
Harry Styles cried onstage during One Direction’s Wednesday night concert in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta after Zayn Malik announced that he had quit the popular band. At one point, while Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan continued singing, Styles turned around and wiped away tears, having become overcome with emotion during the concert.
During another part of the show, Payne put his arm around a visibly upset Styles, after Tomlinson had stretched out his arm around an imaginary (and missing) Malik. Hours later, Payne took to Twitter to reflect on the shocking departure of his bandmate Malik. He tweeted around noontime in Jakarta, “So glad to be in bed after a long and strange 24 hours.”
Indeed, it was a strange 24 hours. Earlier, Malik said in a statement that after five years of touring he felt it was the “right time” to quit and apologized to fans for having “let anyone down.” Still, he stated that it felt “right in my heart,” and explained that he wanted to live his life privately like “a normal 22-year-old… out of the spotlight.”
As Gossip Cop reported, Malik’s quitting One Direction caused legions of fans to express sadness and grief on Twitter. Others, however, were enraged and directed their anger at Malik’s fiancee Perrie Edwards. Many called the Little Mix singer a modern-day Yoko Ono, referring to John Lennon’s wife who’s often blamed for the breakup of The Beatles.

Vin Diesel wants Best Picture Oscar for ‘Furious 7′

The Fast and the Furious: The story so far
Actor Vin Diesel, who is gearing up for his highly anticipated action thriller 'Furious 7', believes the tribute to the late Paul Walker should win the Best Picture award at next year's Oscars.
“Universal is going to have the biggest movie in history with this movie. It will probably win best picture at the Oscars, unless the Oscars don't want to be relevant ever,” variety.com quoted Diesel as saying.
The seventh instalment in the 'Fast and Furious' franchise, which is slated to release in India on April 2, has received rave responses for its previous parts. But does Diesel really think that the film could be the next 'Birdman'?
“This will win Best Picture. There is nothing that will ever come close to the power of this thing,” Diesel added.
In addition to welcoming back almost all of the franchise's principal cast members, 'Furious 7' features the last big-screen appearance by Paul Walker, who died while they were still filming.

Johnny Depp And Amber Heard Reportedly Married

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have officially tied the knot, multiple sources are reporting.

According to People, the couple married at their Los Angeles home Tuesday. E! News has confirmed this, as well as Us Weekly. According to all three outlets, a bigger ceremony is set to take place on Depp's private island in the Bahamas this weekend.

HuffPost has reached out to both actors' reps for comment and will update this story if and when one comes through.

Depp, 51, and Heard, 28, met on the set of the 2011 thriller "The Rum Diary." The pair was first romantically linked in 2012, and news of their engagement broke in January 2014, after Heard was spotted wearing an engagement ring.

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" star indirectly confirmed the engagement news to the Associated Press in March 2014, saying, "The fact that I'm wearing a chick's ring on my finger is probably a dead giveaway -- not very subtle," lifting up his hand to reveal a diamond band.

The wedding marks Heard's first marriage and Depp's second. The actor married makeup artist Lori Allison in 1983 before they separated two years later. Depp has two children with his former girlfriend Vanessa Paradis: Lily-Rose, 15, and Jack, 12.

Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About The 'Game Of Thrones' Dragons

If you want to know something about the "Game of Thrones" dragons, look no further than visual effects supervisor Jabbar Raisani. He's one of the people who brings the dragons to life, but that's not all the visual effects pro is known for.

In addition to his work on "GoT," Raisani's credits include "Iron Man," "Fantastic Four," "Machete" and he's making his directorial debut with his latest movie, "Alien Outpost." The film follows two documentary cameramen embedded in an army unit as they try to fight off the last remaining aliens from a thwarted invasion. Raisani told HuffPost Entertainment that the project is the type of movie made for multiple viewings, allowing you to discover clues and hidden details missed the first time around. Check out the trailer:

Raisani spoke with HuffPost about the new movie, his "Game of Thrones" experience and pretty much everything you could ever want to know about the dragons:

Did you always want to direct?
I was pretty happy moving up the visual effects chain. And then I worked on "Iron Man," and when we first brought out the Iron Man suit on set, just watching [director] Jon Favreau and the way he worked, the way he figured out how he was going to shoot it ... from that point on, I set my sights on figuring out how to get there.

How did your past work influence "Alien Outpost"?
I was fortunate to do something like “Game of Thrones” before my film because I got to see just how effective good planning can be. So one of the things I pushed for on "Outpost" was to give me as much prep on the location as I can possibly get. And through that amount of prep time, you can really plan how you are going to execute. We would actually rewrite the script based on the locations that we ended up getting.

So what is it like working on "Game of Thrones"?
I think the whole atmosphere is top down, where Dan Weiss and David Benioff are awesome. They really care about the show. They care about the crew. They care about the people. There’s an executive producer named Bernadette Caulfield. She’s like the woman that does everything. And then we’re doing all kinds of huge, big sequences. There’s nothing else I can think of that’s ever been on TV like it, so it’s awesome to work on.

Did you read the books?
I read them like eight years before I worked on the show, and once I heard they were going to make the show, I was trying to figure out how I was going to get on it.

How did you get the job?
I was negotiating a deal on something totally different after [working on "Fright Night"] and got in touch with the visual effects supervisor, Joe Bauer. He said, “Hey, instead of doing this other thing you’re talking about, why don’t you come and join me on my show.” And I was like, “What’s your show?” And he said, “Game of Thrones,” And I said, “Okay! When do I start?" That’s one of those things that it’s so awesome the way it worked, especially in Hollywood. It happens when you’re not trying to make it happen.

How hard is it not talking about the things you're working on?
It’s tough, especially when you’re a fan of the books, and you’re like, “Holy shit! We just did that scene today that’s in the books!" But you can’t tell anybody. You can’t reveal it. It’s awesome that everyone on the show is sort of the same. Everyone knows that you just don’t talk about it.

What's something fans don't know about working on the show?
There’s these really hard working talented guys called data wranglers who work really closely with the visual effects supervisor. And they’re the unsung heroes of the visual effects department. They’re carrying the direwolves. These things, we call it a "stuffie" -- so it’s like a full-size direwolf that has little trash bags on its feet to keep it from getting muddy in the rain, and these guys just carry it and truck it through all these horrible terrains, difficult terrains to navigate. It’s little stuff like that, that never shows up on camera.

Image: Giphy

How do you bring the dragons to life?
We have our stuffie, which is our visual representation of what the dragon would look like. I mean, they’re so big now it’s not to scale anymore. It’s just a representation that shows us what the lighting is going to be like, what the texture is going to be like. So we start with that. And we typically, depending on what the dragon’s action is, we'll have a long green pole with a green tennis ball on the end of it, which you’ve probably seen being flown around the set, so everybody’s looking at the same place. Nothing hurts more than when two or three different actors all have different eye lines for the same creature.

How are these dragons different from the ones in the book?
Oh man, I don’t know. I’d have to really read through the book again to remember the descriptions. I don’t know how they differ. I can’t say. We definitely strive to meet the expectations of the readers. All that we do is try to make them as awesome as possible, and, if not only match the readers' expectations, hopefully we’re exceeding them.

What does George R. R. Martin say about the effects?
You know, the only thing I’ve heard from George is he said, “Are you one of the guys who makes the dragons?” And I said, "Yes." He said, “Awesome,” and he gave me this pendant for my backpack, and I still have it on my bag. It’s like a dragon pendant, so he’s a big fan of the dragons, and that’s enough for me.

Image: Giphy

What makes these dragons unique?
One thing that’s really cool is the detail that Joe Bauer put in there, which is when they’re blowing fire there’s a ripple you can see throughout their neck ... Little details like that have been added, and I think they’re really cool and are just unique to these dragons.

Where do the "Game of Thrones" dragons rank among other ones out there?
I’d definitely say they’re in that top tier. With Smaug [from "The Hobbit"], it’s a little bit different in that Smaug is like a talking dragon. It sort of has a whole different character than what these dragons have. I’m thinking like "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.” Those are dragons that I think are awesome. I think it’s in that world, and the fact that it’s done on a television schedule is incredible. They’re as awesome to make as they are to watch.

Drogon from "Game of Thrones" vs. Hungarian Horntail from "Harry Potter"? Who's winning?
Good fight! I'm going to go with Drogon Season 5 because of his size.

What's been your favorite scene from the books to bring to life on screen?
I can’t say what scene it is because it’s in Season 5. It’ll be epic, and there will be dragons.

Raisani's new movie "Alien Outpost" is in select theaters throughout the country, including Los Angeles and New York. It's also available on iTunes, Xbox, Google Play, Amazon and through cable providers On Demand.

Whitney Houston's daughter on life support say family sources

Bobbi Kristina Brown attends the opening night of ''The Houstons: On Our Own'' in New York, in this file photo taken October 22, 2012.
The only child of the late singer Whitney Houston has not been taken off life support or declared brain dead, a family source said on Thursday, five days after Bobbi Kristina Brown was found face down in a bathtub at her Georgia home.

The source, who asked not to be identified, said media reports that Brown, Houston's daughter with singer Bobby Brown, had no brain activity were incorrect.

Bobbi Kristina's cousin Jerod Brown said on social media that doctors were not optimistic about the 21-year-old aspiring singer's chances.

"Though it seems the odds are against her, though doctors don't see any hope for change ... though it looks impossible for her to stand again STILL PRAY FOR BK," Jerod Brown said on Instagram, where he posts as yfkennedy.

Few details about Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition have been released. Her family has said she was fighting for her life after being rushed to a hospital in the Atlanta suburb of Roswell on Saturday.

Police said they responded to Bobbi Kristina Brown's home in reference to a drowning. Her partner and a friend found her unresponsive in the tub and performed CPR until help arrived, police said.

Houston, a six-time Grammy Award winner and actress who battled substance abuse, drowned in a hotel bathtub in Beverly Hills, California, on Feb. 11, 2012. Authorities said cocaine use and heart disease contributed to her death at age 48.

Her daughter is receiving treatment at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, according to CNN and other media outlets. The hospital would not confirm she was a patient there, but the hospital in Roswell that initially provided treatment said she was no longer under its care.

Family friend and gospel singer Kim Burrell told "Access Hollywood" this week that doctors had put the young woman in a medically induced coma to stop brain swelling.

Roswell police and an attorney for Bobby Brown have said they were investigating the circumstances that led to Bobbi Kristina Brown's hospitalization.

In a video interview over Skype with E! News on Wednesday, Jerod Brown asked people to "let the detectives do their jobs" and to stop speculating about what had happened to his cousin.

Emma Watson to star in Disney's live-action 'Beauty and the Beast'

Emma Watson

Emma Watson is ready to tell a tale as old as time. The former "Harry Potter" star has been cast as Belle in Disney's live-action "Beauty and the Beast" movie, the studio announced Monday.
Directed by Bill Condon ("The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1" and "Part 2"), the film is slated to begin production later this year. A release date has not been set.
"Beauty and the Beast" is the latest Disney animated classic to get a live-action revamp, following "Alice in Wonderland," "Sleeping Beauty" (via "Maleficent") and the upcoming "Cinderella" and "The Jungle Book."
Originally released in 1991, Disney's animated "Beauty" was a critical and commercial hit that has grossed more than $424 million worldwide, counting Imax and 3-D re-releases. It is also one of the few animated films to earn an Oscar nomination for best picture, and the only one to do so before the academy expanded the number of nominees in 2009.
On Watson's Facebook page, the 24-year-old British actress said the 1991 film was "such a big part of my growing up, it almost feels surreal that I'll get to dance to 'Be Our Guest' and sing 'Something There.' My six year old self is on the ceiling — heart bursting. Time to start some singing lessons."

Back in 2011, Watson had been linked to a different live-action take on "Beauty and the Beast" with Guillermo del Toro and Warner Bros., which never materialized. Her other upcoming projects include the thrillers "Regression" and "Colonia."

Miss Colombia crowned Miss Universe

Miss Colombia Paulina Vega is crowned Miss Universe
Miss Colombia Paulina Vega has been crowned Miss Universe, beating out first runner-up Miss USA Nia Sanchez and contestants from more than 80 other countries at Sunday’s pageant in Miami.
Vega, a 22-year-old student of business administration from Barranquilla, Colombia, said the contests leading up to Miss Universe were the first she had participated in. She also said they would be her last as she would be eager to return to her studies in Colombia after her reign.
“It will be a dream come true to represent the woman of today. A woman that not only cares about being beautiful and being glamorous, but also cares about being a professional, intelligent, hard-working person,” Vega had said earlier in the week in talking about the role of the winner.
Following Sanchez, the 24-year-old Miss USA from Las Vegas, Nevada, the second runner-up was Miss Ukraine Diana Harkusha.
Miss Jamaica Kaci Fennell and Miss Netherlands Yasmin Verheijen were also among the top five, emerging from the field of 88 contestants.
Sanchez, a 24-year-old resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, had spoken earlier of looking forward to the often-dreaded interview portion. She had been running practice questions all week with her roommate Miss Australia Tegan Martin, who made it to the top ten.
Sanchez has a fourth-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and has traveled the country teaching others. She spoke previously about equipping women to defend themselves against crime.
“It’s just something that’s so prevalent in our society and why not empower women to take control of a dangerous situation into their own hand,” she said.
“Today Show” personality Natalie Morales served as host of the show. Miss Colombia was crowned by the outgoing Miss Universe, Gabriela Isler of Venezuela. The broadcast included performances by singers Nick Jonas and Prince Royce.
Crowd favorite Miss Venezuela Migbelis Lynette Castellanos was cut after the top ten. She had tremendous support and pressure locally and back home. The Miami suburb of Doral, which was host to the women during their stay, is also known as “Doralzuela” for its many Venezuelan residents. Three of the last six Miss Universe titles have gone to Venezuela, where beauty pageants are big business.

Talor Swift's label hits back at Spotify by disclosing streaming royalties

Service paid less than $500,000 for domestic plays over the last 12 months

TAYLOR SWIFT BEST AWESOME BEAUTIFUL
The war of words continues between music streaming service Spotify and powerful pop icon Taylor Swift. After Swift removed her entire catalog from the streaming service last week, Spotify boss Daniel Ek said that she, along with other mainstream artists, was on track to earn over $6 million in royalties this year. But Scott Borchetta, CEO of Swift's label Big Machine, has countered that claim, saying that the "Shake It Off" singer had earned less than $500,000 from Spotify streams in the US in the last 12 months.

A Spotify spokesperson told Time that Swift had been paid a total of $2 million over the last 12 months for the global streaming of her songs, but Borchetta still maintains that Spotify is a blight on the music industry. "The facts show that the music industry was much better off before Spotify hit these shores," he said, clarifying the amount Spotify paid out over the last year as "the equivalent of less than 50,000 albums sold." According to Borchetta, Swift earns more from her videos on Vevo than she did from having her music on Spotify.

"Spotify paid Swift "the equivalent of less than 50,000 albums sold""

Of course, half a million dollars in a vacuum is an impressive figure, but Swift is phenomenally successful in terms of sales, and one of a few remaining mega pop stars. Her most recent album, 1989, became the first this year to sell more than a million copies in a week — a feat only equaled by 18 albums in history. Unlike most, Taylor Swift can make millions off the back of traditional album sales, but by keeping her music away from Spotify even as it begs for her to come back, she and Borchetta say they're trying to make the larger point that the service doesn't pay its artists a reasonable fee. "[Taylor Swift] is the most successful artist in music today," Borchetta says. "What about the rest of the artists out there struggling to make a career?"

What is the difference between a teaser and a full trailer? What is the idea behind a teaser, what should it do to the audience?

Teaser is usually a very short (30sec to 1 min ) long video footage that contains shots from the scene so as to increase hype and publicity about a movie.Mostly big budget movies have a teaser, and as the name suggests teaser is used to tease the audience, not letting them know much about the movie.

Trailer is a bigger (1 -5 minutes or even longer) video clip which contains shots from the movie compiled in such a way to maximise some of the following things like publicity, suspense, interest, excitement , etc. In a trailer more story and events of the story is revealed
