Report: Mohit Goel will make profit of Rs 31 on each sale of Freedom 251 mobile

Report: Mohit Goel will make profit of Rs 31 on each sale of Freedom 251 mobile: After the Freedom 251 mobile was announced at a meagre price of Rs 251, Mohit Goel was charged by police as well as the income tax officers. They were sceptical as to how a phone with such meagre price could be launched. The police as well as members from the tax department frequently visited his rented office at Noida which is two storied. Mohit Goel who had graduated from Amity University says that he would most probably not deliver the Freedom 21 handsets at the said price but he will be making a Rs. 31 profit on every handset that he will sell.

Mohit Goel will make profit of Rs 31 on each sale of Freedom 251 mobile

oel also informed the Times of India in an interview that he does not have any notion as to why he is being charged or what wrong had he done. The customers will be receiving their new Freedom 251 handsets latest by the 15th of April this year.
He claims that he has a proper and feasible business plan ready and it makes no sense calling him a bhagora, meaning someone who runs away with money. He has no issues with the income tax department neither has he received any FIR against himself. Also read, Freedom 251 got 25 lakh booking, but smartphone yet to be made.
The company stated that it had more than seven crore registrations on the website. The registrations had started back in the month of February. The company only accepted registration of only twenty five units initially because of limited supplies. They also provide another twenty five lakh units for the offline distributors. They latter will be receiving by the 30th June this year.
Mohit Goel also claims that the amount collected from the customers would be kept aside and the money will be touch only when the customers receive the handsets. The company claims to have an account in the ICICI bank account.
