Le Max Pro is world’s first smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset: On 21st February, 2016 (Monday), the Chinese smartphone maker LeEco announced during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 that its new device, Le Max Pro, will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. This will be world’s first smartphone to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, which was released last year.

The company has also announced the sale of Le Max Pro which was first unveiled in Las Vegas at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2016. This new model runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow system along with LeEco’s UI.
The company has stated that the this device sets three worldwide benchmarks which are, the first Android smartphone to run on Snapdragon 820 chipset, an 802.11ad connectivity and an ultrasonic Sense ID fingerprint scanner. The device has many features in common with its predecessor, Le Max, which was released in India early this year and had been made available in the market earlier this month.
Apart from the three world industry benchmarks, the other features provided by Le Max Pro are, the device offers a 21 mega pixel main camera with a Sony IMX230 sensor and the camera has an aperture of f/2.0. The camera also comes with Phase Detection Auto Focus and dual ISP support. The secondary camera of the device is of 4 mega pixel and it has an aperture of f/2.0. The front camera also comes with an 81.6 degree wide angle lens. The device offers 4GB RAM and it also offers the fastest available mobile technology available in the world, the UFS 2.0 flash.
The China based company has also announced that it would hold its global brand property LeEco Day in India on 25th February, 2016 (Thursday) on Flipkart, which is an Indian e-commerce platform.
The Le Max Pro has been priced Rs 21,000 and would soon be made available in the Indian market.
