The design of the phone is impressive; the smart phones are good to hold with its perfect curves.
The back part of the handset with a bit of curve makes the phone stand out among the other average ranged handsets. The phone unlike the other comparable metallic phone has a removable back cover. This makes the battery easily replaceable. The battery is 2750 mAh.

The smart phone has an internal memory of 16 GB. Further you can add an additional 32 GB due to the presence of a microSD slot. The two variants- the Lenovo Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 Plus have similar battery as well as internal memory storage. They are credited with a RAM of 2 GB. The camera is impressive with a rear camera of 13 mega pixels. The phone also has a front facing camera of 5 mega pixels. The phone also supports dual sim feature.
Lenovo Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 Plus are compatible with 4G connections too. There are dual speakers in the rear portion of the handset. The screen has a stunning display of 5 inch.
However the two handsets are dissimilar in terms of processor as well as display resolution. The Lenovo Vibe K5 works on Snapdragon 415 processor while on the other hand, the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus works on Snapdragon 616. The former has a resolution of 720 p and on the other hand, the latter has a resolution 1080 p with a full HD display.

The Lenovo Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 Plus works on the operating system Android 5.1 Lollipop. The handset also has the typical customizations that appear on the LG smart phones. Hence the two gadgets do not come with any app drawer. The devices also come with a number of pre installed apps which include the SNAPit, SHAREit as well as the Guvera Music.
Even though the phones are considered good when the overall features are considered, it would have been better if the smart phone had an upgraded operating system that is the Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. This is certainly a bit of a disappointment but this is surely not a great drawback because the phone is a decent one in this budget.
The Lenovo Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 Plus are soon going to hit the stores in the month of March. The former will be sold at a price of $129 and the latter at a price of $149. According to news, Lenovo does not plan on releasing these handsets in the US.
